COMPOSITION
Each film-coated tablet contains Calcium Carbonate BP equivalent to elemental Calcium 500 mg and Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) BP 400 IU.
INDICATION
For the prevention and/or treatment of osteoporosis, fractures, osteomalacia, rickets, tetany, pseudo-parathyroidism, for healthy bone formation and maintenance and other calcium and/or vitamin D deficiencies and to meet increased needs of calcium and/or vitamin D.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
The recommended starting dose of A-Cal DX (Calcium 500 mg & vitamin D 400 IU) 1 tablet twice daily, preferably with or just after meal.
