Composition : Tablet : Domperidone BP 10 mg, Suspension: Domperidone BP 5 mg / 5 ml, Paediatric Suspension : Domperidone BP 1 mg / 1 ml, Paediatric Drops : Domperidone BP 5 mg / 1 ml, Suppository : Domperidone BP 15 mg and 30 mg.
Indications : Acute nausea and vomiting, Stimulation of gut motility, Functional dyspepsia.
Dosage & Administration : Tablet / Suspension : Adults (including elderly) : 1 – 2 tablet or 10 – 20 ml suspension every 4 – 8 hours before meal; Children : 2 – 4 ml suspension / 10 kg body weight every 4 – 8 hours. Paed Drops : 0.2 – 0.4 mg / kg body weight every 4 – 8 hours.
By rectum in suppositories : Adults (including elderly) : 30 – 60 mg every 4 – 8 hours.
Children : The maximum daily dose is 30 mg for those weighting 10 to 25 kg.
Maximum period of treatment is 12 weeks.
Suppository 15 : 2 X 5 Suppositories.
Suppository 30 : 2 X 5 Suppositories.
