Injection : Each 2 ml ampoule contains : Thiamine HCl (Vit. B1) BP 50 mg, Riboflavin Sodium, Phosphate (Vit. B2) BP 5.48 mg, Nicotinamide (Vit. B3) B 100 mg, D-Panthenol (Vit. B5) USP 5 mg, Pyridoxine HCl (Vit. B6) BP 10 mg
Indications : Indicated in polyneuritis, pellagra, angular stomatitis, glossitis, beriberi, other Vitamin B deficiency states such as pregnancy, lactation, prolonged antibiotic therapy, convalescence and for the maintenance of normal growth and health during the early days of childhood.
Dosage & Administration : Syrup : Children up to 2 years : 1 teaspoonful daily.
Children over 2 years : 1 teaspoonful 3 times daily.
Adults : 1 – 2 teaspoonful 3 times daily.
Tablet /Capsule : Adults above 12 years : 1 – 2 tablets /capsules 3 times daily.
Injection : Adults : Usual recommended dose is 2 ml or one ampoule daily.
V-Plex is given by intramuscular and slow intravenous injection. Intravenous administration of V-Plex injection should preferably be given with a drip or in dilution very slowly.
