Composition

Bolus: Each bolus contains Sulfamethoxazole BP 1000 mg & Trimethoprim BP 200 mg.

Indications

All infectious diseases caused by most gram positive and gram negative bacteria (like Staphylococci, Streptococci, E. coli, Klebsiella, Haemophilus, Salmonella, Shigella, Pasteurella, Proteus, Campylobacter, Corynebacterium and Bordetella) in respiratory, digestive and urogenital tract infetions like pneumonia, salmonellosis, diarrhoea, coccidiosis, skin & wound infection, foot rot, mastitis, metritis, brucellosis, arthritis etc. It is also indicated to prevent secondary bacterial infections followed by viral infections (FMD, Ephemeral fever, PPR etc.).

Dosage & Administration 

Bolus

Cattle & Horse: 1bolus/40 kg body weight daily for 5-7 days.

Calf/Goat/Sheep: ½ bolus/20 kg body weight daily for 5-7 days.

Bolus should be used in general digestive tract infections and injection should be used in severe systemic infections.
