Composition : Tablet : Mecobalamin INN 0.5 mg.

Injection : Mecobalamin INN 0.5 mg / 1 ml.

Indications : Peripheral neuropathies (for example, diabetic and alcoholic neuropathy, drug induced neuropathy, lumbago, entrapment neuropathy, intercostal neuralgia and diabetic retinopathy and other neuropathies). Megaloblastic anemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency (injection only).

Dosage & Administration : Tablet : The usual dose for adults is 1 Tablet administered orally three times a day.

Injection : Peripheral neuropathies : 1 ampoule administered intramuscularly or intravenously three times a week.Megaloblastic anemia : 1 ampoule administered intramuscularly or intravenously three times a week. After approximately 2 months of medication, the dose should be reduced to a single administration one ampoule at 1 to 3 month intervals for maintenance therapy.
